Add "Applications" directory to XDG user directory specification

Currently, AppImageLauncher uses Applications directory to contain AppImages. However, this isn't a standard that recognized by other apps. Applications folder name is hard-coded and doesn't support localization, e.g. 应用 in Chinese.

So I created a MR to freedesktop.org to support Applications directory in XDG:

Hopefully, all AppImage stores and utilities will use same directory to keep AppImages.

Another idea, not sure how easily possible it is: It would be just as helpful to also have some XDG_APPLICATION_DIRS or similar which tools like appimagelauncherd and appimaged could search to find applications to be integrated. I would still use the main dir as a target dir with AppImageLauncher, though.

You should not wait for freedesktop to do anything, they already failed to normalize XDG_BIN_HOME and that didn't stop projects from using the variable anyway.

"Apps" would actually be a better directory name; the current one is obviously too long. Also, I would like to change the appimage suffix directly to app.

None of the other standard dirs is using an abbreviation, e.g., "Documents" instead of "Docs". Also, even macOS uses /Applications.
