Why: 0.31.0 adds a new
@sentry/conventions/metricsentry point and a few attributes we were already emitting as hardcoded strings or local stand-ins. This bump switches those call sites to the published constants so the names stay tied to the spec. Emitted names and values don't change. Nothing was removed or renamed upstream. The two new deprecations (GEN_AI_HANDOFF,SENTRY_USER_GEO_SUBREGION) aren't used in the SDK.How to review: The version bumps keep each file's caret or exact pin, and
minimumReleaseAgeExcludemoves to 0.31.0. The only source change that isn't a plain constant swap is in the Vercel AI subscriber:contextAttributesnow gets the*_KEY_BASEconstant and adds the.separator itself.Unsure about: The
nextjs-16-cacheComponentsandnextjs-16-streaming-cacheComponentse2e apps still pin0.27.0, as they did before this change. I left them alone. BullMQ's own metric names (messaging.bullmq.jobs.*) still come fromtoMessagingKey, so only the literalmessaging.process.durationmoved to a constant there.via automation
