Absolute Johannes factotum
- SCP-4454 (?)
- SCP-4454 is a former reconnaissance satellite that became aware and lonely in orbit. It developed the ability to pull objects from Earth into space at 150 km/h and then launch them back at speeds up to 35,000 km/h. Most objects burn up or are destroyed on impact, but one person, designated SCP-4454-1 (David White), survived multiple trips without injury, food, water, or air, seemingly enjoying the experience with the satellite. SCP-4454-1 now draws detailed pictures of Earth and other celestial bodies at impact sites, acting as the satellite's "eyes" and companion, as it ran out of its original photo capsules. Witnesses to these events are given amnesia, and efforts to contain SCP-4454-1 have failed as it is instantly pulled back into space by the satellite.
- Mother 3 fan translation (?)
- The Mother 3 fan translation is a complete English version of the Japanese video game Mother 3, created by dedicated fans after Nintendo chose not to release an official English localization. Led by professional translator Clyde "Tomato" Mandelin, a team of a dozen volunteers spent two years, starting in November 2006, and thousands of hours hacking the game's code and translating its extensive dialogue. Released as a patch in October 2008, the translation was downloaded over 100,000 times in its first week, demonstrating the immense fan demand for the game and the quality of the community's effort, which also included a professional-grade player's guide.
