PYTHON_OPT_DEBUG=4 (or higher) should show types on the abstract stack #143946

Closed

Description

@Fidget-Spinner

Feature or enhancement

Proposal:

PYTHON_LLTRACE=4 dumps everything on the stack.

PYTHON_OPT_DEBUG=4 should show everything on the stack, but instead format the symbolic values nicely.

@cocolato would you like to take this up? this is will be quite a useful tool to help us debug the optimizer.

If you don't want to take this up, it's also fine.

    Currently, stack details are only output when PYTHON_LLTRACE > 4. Therefore, I think we should print the _JitSymType in stack/locals when PYTHON_OPT_DEBUG > 4?
